Emilio and Agripina Maldonado started Sacacuento on their ranch in Oaxaca, Mexico in 1913. When the locals would share the Mezcal, they would share great stories with one another. Those who would tell the best stories were called Sacacuento or “story teller.”
Our Silver is as smooth as most anejo tequilas and has been made in the old artisian way to keep the authentic, unique taste, that only Oaxaca nurtures.
