Mezcal Certification – “COMERCAM”Mezcal is not certified as authentic and made from 100% agave unless it has the seal (to the right) of the COMERCAM. Be careful as some mezcal bottles will say 100% agave or 100% distilled agave and still do not have this seal. The COMERCAM monitors compliance with the NOM-070-SCFI-1994, Alcoholic Beverages-Mezcal-Specifications for this purpose has gained accreditation of the Certification: Reg No. 33/03 and Monitoring Unit No .
